Neo Club does not sell boat ownership. Instead, it offers the right to use a brand-new yacht for 5 years, which provides a significant cost advantage.
With Neo Club, the annual usage right is 4 weeks per year. Unlike other shared ownership systems, you do not pay for weeks you don’t use.
In shared ownership systems, partners continue to split and pay for maintenance, new equipment, and services every year. With Neo Club, what you will pay for the entire 5 years is clearly defined in the contract from the start—there are no surprise costs. If any unexpected expense arises, Neo Sailing does not pass it on to its members.
Although owning a boat may seem wonderful from the outside, it is actually both financially and operationally demanding. That’s why people say the best boat is either your friend’s boat—or the day you buy it and the day you sell it ☺
If you have a fixed job and can only spend limited time on a boat, and if you want to enjoy a brand-new yacht without dealing with marina fees, maintenance, or service operations, then you are in the right place.
If you sail at least 2 weeks every year (or plan to), Neo Club costs nearly half of what you would normally pay in annual charter fees.
Weekly charter rates for new yachts are always higher. Neo Club allows you to use a latest-model yacht for 4 weeks per year over 5 years at prices you wouldn’t find with any other charter company.
With standard charters, you typically pay a €2,000 security deposit and a final cleaning fee each time. With Neo Club, these costs do not apply.
Yes. A membership purchased individually or jointly with friends includes 4 weeks of yacht usage per year for 5 years. You may sail together or divide the weeks among yourselves.
All Neo Sailing needs to know is who will be sailing during each week, and—if you choose to sail without a skipper—that you have a valid sailing certificate.
The membership fee provides the right to use the yacht for 4 weeks per year over 5 years (a total of 20 weeks), based on the selected season weeks. It does not grant ownership of the yacht.
The service fee covers annual marina fees, insurance, yearly haul-out and general maintenance, technical service, onboard and interior equipment, regular cleaning, and all additional cleaning measures implemented during the COVID period.
Currently, the membership fee can be paid in a maximum of 2 installments.
Neo Sailing can charter the yacht on your behalf and help you generate income from the unused weeks.
Yes. If you wish to transfer your membership, we renew the contract with your friend and transfer the membership to them.
The yacht will be equipped with kitchenware, glassware and tableware for 6 people, towels, bedding, and linens.
If you would like your own personal items placed onboard, Neo Sailing can arrange this before your arrival for an additional fee.
Of course. You may hire a skipper or instructor for an additional weekly fee.
