Day 1 — Elba → Portoferraio

The journey opens gently, sailing between Elba’s green hills and soft coastal lines. The
approach to Portoferraio is elegant and unhurried. This is an understated Mediterranean
town — rich in history, balance, and quiet confidence rather than spectacle.
The evening unfolds with a harbour-side walk and a dinner shaped by Tuscan cuisine: simple,
grounded, and deeply expressive.

Portoferraio → Capraia

Departing Elba in the morning, we head toward Capraia. The route is open yet calm, the sea
wide and deep blue. As we approach, the island reveals a wilder character: volcanic rock
formations, dense vegetation, and untouched coves.
Midday brings swim stops in quiet bays where the water is exceptionally clear and the
coastline remains still. Arrival feels intimate Capraia’s compact settlement and natural
simplicity immediately set the tone. The night is spent at anchor or in the small harbour, fully
isolated and deeply peaceful.

Capraia → Porto Azzurro (Elba)

Today, the route returns to Elba
This time toward its warmer, more social side. Sailing toward Porto Azzurro, soft hills, olive
groves, and pale rock formations accompany the passage.
The harbour is one of the island’s most elegant stops, defined by its open piazza, waterfront
restaurants, and relaxed Italian summer rhythm. The day flows with gentle sailing and swim
stops, before sunset brings the island’s pace fully into focus.

Porto Azzurro → Marciana Marina

This short crossing to the western side of Elba is one of the route’s most pastoral moments.
Approaching Marciana Marina, the coastline becomes dramatic yet soft granite cliffs, green
slopes, and small coves shaping the scene.
The afternoon is unhurried: swimming, time on deck, and quiet balance. Marciana Marina is
small but full of character: silent streets, simple cafés by the sea, and the unmistakable feeling
of a true Tuscan island. The night is calm, the stars clearly visible.

Marciana → Elba (Free Day / Cove Exploration)

The final day is dedicated to open exploration around Elba.
Depending on wind and mood, the route unfolds through different coves, short swim
passages, and a rhythm focused entirely on rest and ease. A soft, reflective close to the
journey.
